Our project coordinator and manager design the aluminium façade system together with the employer by integrating the aluminium system details into architectural drawings. All static calculations for aluminium profiles, steel, glass and sheets are done according to related norms and the performance criteria defined by the employer. Under the most unfavourable situation of fixed and moving loads in the system, the internal force and displacement analysis are performed to provide the system stability.

During the shop drawing stage; if we encounter with a conflict of architectural drawings, this will be reported to the employer immediately for avoiding undesirable situations in the future. New alternatives are determined by evaluation of the results together with the employer.

Project design and shop drawing programs are determined to comply with entire work program. All shop drawings are controlled by project engineers before submitting to employer’s approval. All summited drawings are used for production and installation.

Dynamic Analysis

All elements which constitute the entire façade system, must withstand against dynamic forces such as wind and seismic.
Vibrational modes are identified in order to examine dynamic behaviour of the facade system and design response spectrum is established.

Maximum internal forces and displacements are calculated by; the mode superposition method which takes into account design spectrums or nonlinear methods using ground movement in time domain.

The wind effect on the buildings are defined by the turbulence on wind direction which causes dynamic responses by being in line with essential bending mode vibration, turbulence intensity, unevenness of the land ,orographic characteristics and dimensions.

All wind and seismic calculations are done in accordance with the following norms; EN 1990-1999 ( Euro code ), ASD (Allowable Stress Design ), LRFD (Load and Resistance Factor Design ), IBC 2006 (International Building Code ), NBCC 2005 (National Building Code of Canada ), SNIP (Russian Technical Standards) , UBC 97 (Uniform Building Code ), BS 5950 (British Standard ) … etc.

Static Analysis

The design loads for the façade elements of the buildings, based on international standards concerning the local conditions.

To study the most unfavourable situation under the dead and live loads; the system stability is ensured by having internal force and displacement analyses. Transom –Mullion, glass, aluminium composite panel, silicone, mechanic anchorage or chemical anchorage for the brackets and other connection elements are controlled in accordance with the related norms.

Isometric Analysis

To provide interior comfort conditions in terms of building physics; condensation and thermal calculations are done by taking account thermal insulation values ​​in different climatic conditions, to comply with TS 825, TS EN ISO 13788, TS EN ISO 10211-1 and EN ISO 10077–1, TS 8441 standards.
